Friends Forever by Shannon Hale

I really like this book. The main character is Shannon, who is the author of this book. Some of the parts are true, but she also mixed in some fake parts. Shannon is now in eight grade at Bryant Junior High where she made many new friends. Shannon wants to look beautiful, so a boy will like her. She tries to be beautiful but nobody likes her. She has fights with her friends and is now worried. What will she do? Since she is struggling in school, her parents want her to live in California.
